Resolution Symptoms:
Need to view the current connection status of Outlook.

Possible Cause:
Various Outlook issues.

Resolution:
If you find you need to look at the connection status for Outlook, there is a hidden option to display the monitor. Hold down Ctrl while right-clicking the Outlook icon on the Taskbar. You will now have two new options: 'Connection Status.' and 'Test Email Auto-Configuration.
Click the 'Connection Status.' option, and you will be given a window that will allow you to see which server(s) Outlook is connecting to, usernames connected, along with a number of other useful items.
